Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Doodle Jam for Android (the “App”). By downloading, purchasing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Doodle Jam is licensed, not sold. Your use of the App is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service, which govern your purchase and download of the App through Google Play.

1. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use of the App, its sharing features, and any purchase.

2. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use Doodle Jam on Android devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Google Play Terms of Service.

You may not copy, redistribute, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, modify, bypass feature or purchase restrictions, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

3. Creative Work and Your Content

As between you and us, you retain your rights in the drawings, recordings, brushes, and other creative works you make with Doodle Jam. Subject to the rights of others and applicable law, you may use and export your original creations for personal or commercial purposes.

You are responsible for photos, text, emoji, brush images, brush packages, and other material you import, create, or share. You must have the necessary rights and permissions and must not use the App to create, store, transmit, or share content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, harmful, or violates another person’s rights.

The App itself—including its code, interface, branding, built-in brush designs, fun tools, sound effects, presets, icons, and supplied assets—remains owned by us or our licensors. Your right to use exported artwork does not transfer ownership of the App or permit extraction or resale of supplied assets as a competing product or asset library.

4. Sharing Drawings

You can share editable drawings as doodlejam:// links or Doodle Jam project files through Android’s share sheet. You choose the recipients and the app that delivers them. Anyone who receives a link or file, or is later given it, can open and continue the drawing, so share only with people you trust. We do not host shared drawings and do not guarantee delivery, compatibility, or recovery of anything sent through another service.

5. Free and Pro Features

Doodle Jam provides free functionality and optional Doodle Jam Pro functionality, including decorative and neon brushes, emoji brushes, advanced symmetry modes, fun tools, process recording, PDF export, and other creative tools described in the App. Available features may change as the App evolves. Changes will not remove an active entitlement in a manner prohibited by applicable law or Google Play policies.

6. One-Time Pro Purchase

Doodle Jam offers Pro as a one-time in-app purchase. The exact price, included benefits, and applicable taxes are shown on the purchase screen and the Google Play purchase dialog before you buy. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

A “lifetime” or “permanent” unlock means access to the Pro features associated with that product for the supported lifetime of Doodle Jam. It does not guarantee that every future product, separate app, unrelated service, or indefinitely available Google Play listing will be included.

An eligible purchase can be restored on Android devices signed in to the same Google Account through the App’s “Restore Purchases” function, subject to Google Play’s rules. Restoring a purchase restores Pro access only; it does not transfer drawings between devices.

7. Billing and Refunds

All purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not control payment authorization, billing, tax collection, or refund decisions and cannot issue Google Play refunds directly. To request a refund or resolve a billing issue, follow Google Play’s refund process at support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, the Pro features it unlocked may be removed. Statutory refund and consumer rights available in your country or region are not limited by these Terms.

8. Imports, Exports, and Third-Party Destinations

You may import photos, Doodle Jam project files, and compatible brush files, and you may export or share PNG and JPG images, PDF documents, project files, and MP4 recordings. You choose the source and destination and are responsible for reviewing their terms and privacy practices.

Files may contain creative content or embedded image resources. Inspect files from unknown sources before importing or sharing them. A receiving app or service may alter, recompress, flatten transparency, remove metadata, or otherwise change exported media.

Export resolution, video duration and frame rate, color rendering, transparency, and file compatibility depend on device hardware, available storage, Android version, and receiving software. We do not guarantee that every format or feature will be available or preserved on every device or destination.

9. App Availability, Data, and Updates

We may improve, update, replace, suspend, or discontinue features or the App. Some updates may be required for continued compatibility, security, or Google Play distribution. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device or future Android version, or indefinite availability of the Google Play listing.

Doodle Jam stores your work locally and does not sync it to our servers. Device loss, clearing the App’s data, storage pressure, software failure, an incompatible update, or uninstalling the App may result in lost work. You are responsible for exporting or otherwise backing up important creations.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doodle Jam is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that locally stored or shared work cannot be lost.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, creative work, revenue, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use Doodle Jam.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. Your license terminates automatically if you materially violate these Terms. On termination, you must stop using and delete the App, but provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability—will remain in effect. Purchase and refund matters remain governed by Google Play and applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Doodle Jam, Google Play requirements, or applicable law. We will post revised Terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
