This Privacy Policy explains how Quick Math Jam (the “App”, “we”, or “us”) handles information when you use the App. Quick Math Jam is a math practice and learning app for Apple devices, offering timed jams, an adaptive learning path, challenges, mistake review, and progress insights.
Privacy at a glance: Quick Math Jam does not require an account, does not operate its own user or content server, and does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. Your practice activity, progress, and settings are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, synced through your own private iCloud account. We do not receive that data.
1. Information Processed by the App
Quick Math Jam processes the following information on your device to provide its features:
- Learning activity: problems presented, your answers, whether they were correct, response times, skipped questions, session results, levels and skill-check outcomes, streaks, experience points, and badges.
- Preferences: daily question goal, language, sound and haptic settings, practice-reminder settings, preferred answer method (choices, typing, handwriting, or voice), and problem layout.
- Purchase status: product and entitlement information returned by Apple’s StoreKit framework so the App can unlock purchased features.
This information is used only to operate the App—to generate suitable practice, track your progress, and show your reports. We do not receive your locally stored learning activity or preferences.
2. iCloud Sync
If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is enabled for the App, your learning activity and settings may sync across your Apple devices using Apple’s iCloud/CloudKit in your private iCloud database. This data is associated with your Apple Account and is stored and transmitted by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We cannot read the contents of your private iCloud database. You can turn iCloud syncing off for the App in the system Settings, in which case your data stays local to the device.
3. Microphone and Speech Recognition
Quick Math Jam offers an optional voice answer mode. When you choose to answer by voice, the App requests microphone access and uses Apple’s speech-recognition technology to convert your spoken answer into a number so it can be checked. Depending on your device and settings, speech recognition may be performed on-device or by Apple’s speech-recognition service, which is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. The App uses the recognized text only to evaluate your answer. We do not record, store, or transmit your voice to our own servers, and the microphone is only active while you are using voice mode.
4. Handwriting Input
Quick Math Jam offers an optional handwriting answer mode. Your handwritten strokes are recognized on your device to read the number you wrote. Handwriting input is processed locally to check your answer and is not sent to us.
5. Notifications
If you enable the practice reminder, the App schedules a local notification on your device at the time you choose. These reminders are generated on-device. You can turn the reminder off in the App or disable notifications for the App in system Settings at any time.
6. Purchases and Subscriptions
Quick Math Jam offers monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. All billing, payment credentials, refunds, subscription management, and purchase history are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your card number or full payment details.
The App receives limited transaction information from Apple, such as product identifier, entitlement status, and verified transaction status, solely to provide, restore, and manage access to purchased features. Apple’s handling of payment and App Store information is governed by Apple’s policies.
7. Information You Choose to Share
If you contact us by email, we receive the email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to provide. We use it to answer your request, provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
8. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
Quick Math Jam does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, does not create advertising profiles, and does not track you across apps or websites. Any learning insights, streaks, and reports shown in the App are computed on your device from your own activity. We do not sell personal information.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is designed so that practice can be used without creating an account or submitting personal information to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support address, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
10. Security
We design Quick Math Jam to minimize data collection and keep learning activity on your device or within your private iCloud account. No method of storage is completely secure, so you should protect access to your device and Apple Account.
11. Your Choices
- You can decline microphone access and continue practicing with choices, typing, or handwriting.
- You can turn iCloud syncing off for the App so data stays on the device.
- You can reset or clear your practice history and progress from within the App, and deleting the App removes its locally stored data from that device.
- You can turn practice reminders on or off at any time.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings and restore eligible purchases through the App.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements, or our practices. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
